The January transfer window has never been a good time for any clubs to buy players, because it always comes around at a time when clubs are in the middle of their season, and buying players can sometimes cause a bit of a bad atmosphere among other players in the dressing room.
That isn’t the only negative when buying players in January though, and clubs also find it’s much more expensive than it is in the summer, which often makes clubs walk in the opposite direction. Of course, with the above being said, there are always transfer rumours and we’ll have a look at a couple of the potential players on Bayern Munich’s radar below.
Could Isco be heading to the German giants?
Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, otherwise known as Isco, currently plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid but he is a player that has been linked with not only Bayern Munich in recent weeks, but also many Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester United. He is obviously a great player that many clubs admire, but rumour has it; Real Madrid want to offload him as soon as possible.
This has been a player that has been linked a lot to a variety of clubs in recent times, so there is obviously something going on there that could lead to his departure. Whether he heads for Bayern Munich or a top English club, you can be sure there are a lot of clubs looking to offer him a contract so he has a wide range of options to suit his needs.
Rumour has it; Eric Dier could be on his way to Germany too
Eric Dier is only a young England international, so if he did leave for Germany it will be a big loss for the Premier League. He is a regular for Tottenham but there are rumours that suggest he could be on his way out of White Hart Lane within the next year, whether that is in the January or summer transfer windows. Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has had his own say on the rumours and he thinks they are complete rubbish, but that doesn’t mean an awful lot in football these days.
One thing is for certain though, Eric Dier is currently well-sought after as he has also been linked with a move to local London rivals Chelsea. This would be a huge kick in the teeth for Tottenham and they would much prefer to sell to Bayern Munich to stop him from coming to haunt them in the future, but it would definitely make a lot more sense for his career if he was to continue to play football in London, so he can easily hook up with the England squad during international fixtures.
Could these transfers be worth betting on?
The great thing about football is that anything can happen on the pitch, and the same goes for what happens during the transfer windows. This can benefit you as you’ll be able to take a punt and hope it all works out when it comes to betting. If you are one to bet on the football, why not have a look at the odds on Eric Dier leaving England for Germany and Isco leaving Real Madrid for Bayern Munich? You will easily be able to find a betting offer that tickles your fancy, and you can enhance your odds on Premier League bets to make things even more profitable.
No matter how much it costs clubs to add quality players to their squads in January, they do still do it so it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Eric Dier and Isco in Bayern Munich kits come the end of January.
